There are so many fabulous designers and wonderful cotton prints on the market today. Treadle has been receiving shipments daily and we are very well stocked with fun cotton prints of all types. As we approach the end of summer, we need to make room for the new fall fabric arrivals. Now, through September 5th, selected woven cotton prints will be 20% off. Plus, you can take an additional 20% off sale priced prints! Sorry, cotton knit prints, voile and cotton lawn prints, corduroy prints and our Japanese cotton prints are not included in this sale. Our fearless leader, Mary, will be heading to a textile show again in September and she is sure to find many lovely new fabrics to tempt you. Michele, our class coordinator and teaching maven, has been hard at work on our fall class schedule. As soon as it is ready, we will post it here on the website and email it to those who have signed up on the class schedule mailing list. Classes fill quickly, so keep your eyes peeled.
Mark your calendars for two upcoming trunk shows. Decades of Style, featuring garments made from their vintage pattern designs, will be on display September 3 through 19. Oliver + S, children’s patterns featuring fabrics from their first ever fabric line from Moda, will be on display October 1 through 10.
The delivery date for Soul Blossoms, the new print group by Amy Butler, has been pushed back to December. We have ordered the entire collection and it is fabulous. We have booked a trunk show featuring the new fabrics which will run from January 17 through 31.
Fashion Sewing Club returns on Tuesday, September 14 at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Join Kristin, Laurel and Debbie, a.k.a. the Material Girls, as they share tips and techniques and model their latest creations.
